What’s New

Whoosh! Another summer season over. It went so fast. Thanks to all who made it so successful and enjoyable.

Now on to 2018. I have a stockpile of blank panels and canvases to work on over the winter. They’re  a little intimidating. It’ll be interesting to see what eventually appears on them. I’m sure there will be a few fishermen/lobstermen, but I’ve been looking back at some early works that I had painted in watercolor (see above) and think I’ll attempt to reinterpret them as oils. 

I’ll be half of a two-person show at the Providence Art Club from March 11-30. From July 21 through August I’ll be part of a three-artist show at Maine Art in Kennebunk

They are meant to be generic, symbolic and iconic and are based on years of internalized accumulated experiences and memories of exploring salty shores from both land and water.
