What’s New

Now that spring has finally sprung and I’ve started delivering new work to galleries, I’m looking forward to an exciting 2018 gallery season.

Each gallery will be have some new work from me by Memorial Day, but the highlight for me will be a two artist show opening June 30 at Maine Art Hill in Kennebunk with Bethany Harper Williams. Among my new work this year will be a number of small (12 x 12) pieces, something I’ve resisted doing for years. As it turned out, they were great fun to do and there will probably many more to come.

Also new for this season is an arrangement with Maine Art Hill to produce a selection of large, limited edition, fine art prints on canvas from some of my favorite pieces. I went up to the gallery recently to sign and number the first few and they look terrific. Along with  prints of several other gallery artists, they will be available at Maine Art Prints and Framing in their newly constructed art “village”.

Hera’s to happy, healthy and prosperous summer!

About David

My work springs from my love of the seacoast and fascination with people make a living from its waters. The images are not descriptive of any particular person or place. They are meant to be generic, symbolic and iconic and are based on years of internalized accumulated experiences and memories of exploring salty shores from both land and water.
